You can learn a bit more about what we do here.
The Montclair Community Food Co-op is a team effort- members of the community work together to bring quality local organic produce and dry goods to our area at a great price.
The majority of what we do fits into three categories:
Summer CSA- From June to November we receive fresh local organic produce and eggs
from local farms. We recommend families sign up early and prepay to provide security for the season ahead to farmers.
Winter Co-op- From December to June we run a buying club where we buy as much local and fresh produce as possible-
local cold storage and bulk buy specially priced produce from organic distributors.
Bulk Buying- Year round we bulk buy from small farms and businesses- from Organic Raw Honey to dried fruit we have your dry goods covered and a a lower price and better quality than Whole Paycheck or Traitor Joes. Bulk buying reduced the amount of travel, packaging and storage time that products may have been subjected to.
